A New Normal

Everyone is talking about this “new normal” that has arrived without invitation.

One thing is certain: the new normal is uncertainty. But a crisis doesn’t define us – in fact, it reveals us! In 605 B.C., the Babylonians conquered Israel and plunged the nation into a new normal overnight. The stories of how the exiles adapted to life under Babylon provide valuable lessons on how we too can trust God and even thrive when the life we once knew has been taken away.

  • Jeremiah - weep but bless
  • Daniel - influence but don’t compromise
  • Ezekiel - repent but don’t lose hope
  • Nehemiah - serve but don’t forget
  • Esther -  obey but remain loyal
